Ive only had this app a day but I havent had any problems. Youll hear about others losing money on here, but Ive invited three people and gotten a free $15 so far. Easy, convenient, fast. Use it.

Nice app just wish I could delete my activity

This is an amazing service and I have used it many times without a problem. I have also referred a few people to this app and have received my referral rewards. A business associate sent me two different transactions for a total of $285 and I have yet to receive that money. I have contacted customer support 4 different times and each time they respond with the steps that I need to take to the resolve the problem myself. I have done everything theyve asked me to do, Ive checked with the sender to verify the funds were withdrawn, I also verified with my bank that the funds were not received. It is starting to look like the cash app stole $285 from us. The first transaction was initiated on April 13, 2016 and we still dont have the money. I will leave this review at 1 star until this problem is resolved.

The customer service is horrid! The app worked once, and never again. I have sent three emails, after 48 hours they responded asking me for details not provided in the app, and then I have never heard from them again .. I dont have a week to sit on an "instant" cash platform! Another week has passed and nothing! Please beware of this app!

Fast and Ez I love it

This app used to be great. It worked like a charm. And with my CANCER PATIENT mother in a different area of NY, this app was a life saver in sending her emergency money, especially considering I travel for work and spend a lot of time out of state. About two months ago my mom contacted me asking for money take a cab to the hospital the next day, when I went to send her money, suddenly my card was no longer supported. A Wells Fargo Visa Debit card. I panicked. Ended up on a train in the middle of the night to get to her. Ive contacted Cash FOUR times, three of which only received the auto response, one got an email saying theyd check in to it, but never got back to me again. Apps like venmo are great, but take more time for the money to clear. This used to be a fantastic easy way of sending money almost instantly. Sadly theyve let it slip and now its just a constant source of frustration. Do yourself a favour, plan ahead use Venmo, which at least is consistent, and dont bother with this absurd app. THE WORST.

First of all, if you haven’t used Square cash yet make sure to enter the reward coupon XKXBHRS on the sign up screen to get a $5 bonus when you send your first transfer! Enter it after it asks for your number. If you’ve already signed up you can enter the reward coupon on the profile menu if you scroll to the very bottom. The service itself exceeds the competition found in PayPal and Venmo in its ease of use. Sign up is super easy and very convincing for friends, particularly when out to dinner in NYC where asking the waiter to split a bill is like pulling out your teeth. I like the fact that I can send money to anyone even if they haven’t signed up with Square yet. The app is simple, swift and clean. The transfer itself is instant every time for me. It seems secure, especially with the touch ID integration. This app has changed how I exchange money with friends! Welcome to the modern era. Overall you should definitely give it a try, especially with the $5 bonus it gives you!

Too many complications. Delayed response from team and no immediate refund even when it was the fault of the app. Do not use this app. Your money will be held for a few days before you get it back.

Extremely useful for quick debit card transfers! Use this with my friends and family all the time for easy transfers!

Very convenient app to transfer money. The transfers are quick when using a debit card, which helps to avoid the 2-3 day with ACH transfers & holds. I havent needed customer service so I cant speak to the quality of that.
